Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login status or preferences. ArbEdge uses a minimal set of cookies required to operate the service. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling.

2. Cookies We Use

Authentication Cookies (Essential) These cookies are set by Clerk, our authentication provider, to keep you logged in during your session. Without these cookies, you would need to log in on every page load. · __clerk_db_jwt — Session token for authentication · __session — Active session identifier · __client_uat — User authentication timestamp These cookies are essential for the service to function. They cannot be disabled if you wish to use authenticated features. Preference Storage (Local Storage) ArbEdge stores your alert preferences (email, threshold, symbols) in your browser's localStorage — not as cookies. This data never leaves your device unless you configure email alerts. We do NOT use: · Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) · Advertising or tracking cookies · Third-party marketing cookies · Social media cookies

3. Cookie Duration

Authentication cookies set by Clerk expire after 30 days of inactivity. When you sign out, these cookies are immediately deleted. LocalStorage data persists until you manually clear your browser storage or uninstall the browser.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Clerk (our authentication provider) may set cookies on our behalf for session management. Clerk's cookie usage is governed by their privacy policy at clerk.com/privacy. No other third-party cookies are used on ArbEdge.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings: · Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies · Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies · Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data · Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions Disabling essential authentication cookies will prevent you from staying logged in. The dashboard and market data are fully accessible without an account or cookies — only alert preferences and account features require authentication.

6. GDPR & Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The authentication cookies we use are strictly necessary for the service to function and are exempt from consent requirements under GDPR. We do not use any optional cookies that would require your consent. To exercise your data rights or ask questions about our cookie use, contact [email protected].

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the service evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will notify you of material changes via email if you have an account.
